Fast 120Hz IPS LCD, with decent brightness and contrast.

120Hz refresh rate handling and automatic switching needs work. Games refused to run above 60 fps.

Unless you really feel compelled by the 5G hype train, jumping on a 5G handset, whether it is the Realme 7 5G or not, might not be the wisest strategic move. You might be able to get better value for money on a 4G device. Perhaps even one also from...

realme 7 (5G) Review – For just A$500, realme 7 5G is packed with lots of modern features you'd love on a new Android phone like a fingerprint sensor embedded on the power button, 120Hz refresh rate display, and more.

realme 7 5G offers a great value for a A$500 phone. It has a sharp looking display with beautiful design, and that 120Hz refresh rate is pretty juicy for a phone of this price.
