Samsung Flight II SGH-A927 (AT&T)

The Samsung Flight II isn't a terrible phone, but it's mediocre in so many ways that it looks hideously overpriced per month.

Comfortable QWERTY keyboard. Good built-in Web browser.

Middling call quality. Slow UI. High monthly fees. Bloatware-infested.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions The Flight II has a roomy 512MB of free internal memory. My 16GB SanDisk microSD card worked fine in a slot underneath the battery cover. Playing music was confusing, with extra layers of menus, trial subscription...

Samsung Flight II Review

When the Samsung Flight soared into AT&T's lineup last fall, it was seen as your typical portrait QWERTY slider that didn't invoke too many glances with its ordinary and mediocre experience. Most recently, we saw the Samsung Strive burst out of the...

Samsung Flight II Review by Sydney

The Good: New physical QWERTY keyboard design that is wider and more spacious; solid build quality; TouchWiz UI with widgets and icons to use on three homescreens.

Problems with the capacitive touchscreen

The Samsung Flight 2 is a great messaging phone that is a worthy successor to the original Flight.

"Just a bad phone."

I've had this phone for 2 years now and i cant wait to get a new one because this phone is simply bad. It is horribly slow (there is a .5 second delay for every touch). The widgets slow me down rather than helping me. Sometimes I try to tap something...

easy to text (sort of)

very slow, inefficient, annoying, useless etc.

"I'd recommend a simpler phone over this one."

I've had this phone for 4 months after my phone of two years broke and my mother took my upgrade to get herself an iphone. I got this phone for $50 from the insurance company. I didn't mind too much until I actually received the phone. There is...

"Difficult phone"

I bought this phone for the qwerty keyboard and for listening to music or books when working in the yard. Texting is the only thing better than my old dumb phone. While listening to music, phone keeps dialing first number in call list, even when...

"Overly complicated...poor reception"

This phone really blows..everything you want to do takes two or three steps, and leaves everything open after your done...like when you go into your contacts, and make a phone call, when you are done, the contacts is still open, and you have to hit the...

Compared to my Chocolate Touch, there ARE no pros.

Too many cons..see summary below

"This phone is horrible!"

Phone is slow, has several functionality issues that will frustrate the user to no end. Not good for text, or any kind of internet browsing/streaming. If all you need is a simple phone that you will use for calls only, there are much better quality...

QWERTY keyboard was fairly easy to get used to, and like the previous samsung phone I owned prior to purchasing this one... It has an easy to use interface and side dock which can be very useful.

SLOW!!! Everything you do using this phone has a significant lag time. Also, when checking voicemail, screen locks..i found out this is because when you are listening to your voicemail if the screen isnt locked you will hear 'message delted'

"Alright phone, obviously not the best in the world."

Do not get this phone if you can help it!!!

It is very durable for the most part. I have dropped it countless times and the touch screen is still in near perfect condition. The side broke though and i needed to repair it with electrical tape. The slider is now broken from it.

VERY laggy and unresponsive!
