Siemens SX1 (as smart phone)

The Siemens SX1 is a tough sell, with its wacky keypad layout: All the numbers are arranged vertically, down both sides of the phone.

Good camera. Symbian OS. MP3 support. External MMC slot. FM radio.

Clumsy key layout. No specific carrier.

The SX1 would be a leading Symbian contender if not for its keypad. We say stick with a more traditional smart phone like the Nokia 6620.

Siemens SX1

The Siemens SX1 offers good features for a smart phone, but you'll first have to get past the number keys' annoying layout.

Good camera. Symbian OS. MP3 support. External MMC slot. FM radio.

Siemens SX1 Preview Review

The folks over at GSMBOX got their hands on a Siemens SX1. The smartphone boasts a very unique design (seen at right) and large color screen. As well as the typical features you'd expect, it also includes an FM radio...

Siemens SX1

Siemens mixes business with pleasure with the SX1 -- a smart phone which isn't just a pretty face. Read our Australian review.

Built on Symbian platform ; Bluetooth ; PDA functionality ; 64MB MMC card

Awkward button layout

There were no problems with the battery, although the features of the phone mean that if you use it intensively it will only last about a day, but it has a standby time of 200 hours and up to 4 hours of talk time.

Siemens SX1

Being Siemens first and only Smart Phone at the moment, the next few to be released from this company should be bigger and better than the SX1, hopefully they go back to the normal keypad layout for conveniences sake. =)

Siemens SX1

This device had caused a lot of rumors, myths, discussions and predictions right from its first announcement. It had its own fans and enemies. This unclear attitude towards the first smartphone from Siemens was predictable, since it was different from...

Siemens - SX1

If you fancy a Symbian Series 60 phone, the number of handset makers you can choose between has just doubled, with Siemens' SX1 finally becoming available to buy almost a year after it was first announced. ...

The SX1 is a well featured, small, neat and good looking PDA phone, and while it is expensive we expect it to follow the normal trend and fall in price fairly quickly. It is let down by its columnar arrangement of keys though, which we found difficult...
