Sony Ericsson M600i

Full disclosure up front:  The Sony Ericsson m600i smartphone is not for everyone.  It has some quirks and flaws, and the fact that it's only compatible with European high speed networks is a major shortcoming for a smartphone to be used in the U.S....

Sony Ericsson M600i review | PhoneDog

Sony Ericsson's m600i will not become a best seller in the United States, and that's too bad because it's a powerful and unique mobile phone. The primary hurdle it faces in the US is SE's own doing - it's a European phone that lacks support for any...

Sony Ericsson M600i

The Sony Ericsson M600i should start to ship worldwide inQ2 2006, with different keyboard arrangements for those countries that do not use a "QWERTY" layout. There's also an M600c for mainland China.

Sony Ericsson M600i

Sony Ericsson M600 - Symbian OS 9.1 and UIQ 3.0 enabled phone offering 3G network support, Bluetooth, Memory Stick Micro expansion, touch screen, handwriting recognition and QWERTY keyboard.

Many have said that the M600 is just an interim model by Sony Ericsson to capture market while waiting for P990. I can't help to think of consumer being guinea pig to test/iron out firmware on the mass market on UIQ-3 platform so as to layout the...

Sony Ericsson M600i Cell Phone Review

M600i has all you need to keep in touch with friends and colleagues in every way, every day. It gives you secure push e-mail, Internet and company intranet access. And when you're browsing the Web with your M600i, you can still make and take calls....

Keyboard, user friendly

No camera

Sony Ericsson M600i

Sony Ericsson's new M600i is a compact and lightweight 3G smart phone includes a 20 button qwerty keyboard, touch screen and Symbian OS.

Size and Weight, Push e-mail, Dual function keyboard, Scroll wheel, Display

No Wi-Fi, No Camera, Stylus location, Onboard Memory

The stylish yet feature packed M600i is an interesting, yet welcome addition to the market. Its lack of WiFi and camera are the only sour points of what is otherwise a solid smart phone.

Looking for an alternative to the BlackBerry in a smaller package? Check out the M600i

Missing out the camera also means that SonyEricsson has been able to keep the M600i very trim indeed, and this, in fact, is probably going to be what will sell this handset rather than the grandeur of UIQ, the built in software, or that email capability.

Sony Ericsson M600i

Sony Ericsson's P-series touch-screen Smartphones have been very successful with the business segment and it's been a while since the once reigning P910i came out.

The UIQ interface never went down too well with me and I had the same set of problems with the M600i UI. Some trivial operations take longer with the neverending chain of commands required. Take, for example, changing the ringtone of your phone. From...
