Review: Sprint Mogul

The successor to last year's wildly popular PPC-6700 sports a similarly splendid slide-out keyboard, three flavors of wireless (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and EV-DO), a 2-megapixel camera,...

Mobile Office apps let you create and edit docs. Phone doubles as wireless modem. 512-MB microSD card included in box

Frequently turns itself on for no apparent reason. Scattered controls result in accidental presses (especially when using camera). Speaker phone sounds crummy on other end. Camera snaps look fuzzy

Sprint Mogul by HTC (PPC-6800)

Sprint's most powerful handheld could be more powerful still.

Fast processor. Lots of memory. Full keyboard. Wi-Fi and EV-DO.

Jerky video. So-so camera. EV-DO Rev 0, not Rev A speeds.

Review: Sprint Mogul - A Windows Mobile 6 Powerhouse

The Sprint Mogul in brushed silver weighs in at 6.5 ounces and measures 4.3 x 2.3 x 0.7 inches, which makes it just a sliver heavier and taller than its predecessor, the PPC-6700, and just slightly thinner. It also takes the important step of making...

The sliding mechanism for the keyboard is smooth and makes a satisfying "click" when it snaps into place, and the screen switches automatically from portrait to landscape mode

Sprint Mogul Review - Pocket PC Central Review Center

For years, I railed against the convergence of PDAs and mobile phones. In those years, I wanted my PDA and phone to be separate, an opinion formed by using nearly all converged devices of the period, which were bulky, underpowered and true...

Excellent, Comfortable Design; Fast 3G EV-DO Connectivity; Speedy Processor; Hardware Wi-Fi Switch

Too Little System Memory (RAM); Somewhat Medicore Battery Life; No Onboard GPS

If you're a Sprint customer, you can't go wrong with the Mogul. It's fantastic.
