Xiaomi Mi 5 review: Time-saver edition

Xiaomi surely took the time to make the Mi 5 worthy of its name. And Xiaomi Mi 5 sets the bar even higher! The Mi 5 was the first Xiaomi phone to be unveiled under the massive spotlight of the world's biggest mobile expo - the MWC in Barcelona.

A stunning looker. ; The display is great ; The Snapdragon 820 chipset offers stellar performance ; Battery life is excellent ; Camera photos are absolutely great

Xiaomi Mi 5 review: This fantastic phone gives Samsung S7's a run for its money

Xiaomi's impressive Mi 5 is just as powerful as its top-end Android rivals, at half the price. It's a shame it's only officially available in China and India.

The Xiaomi Mi 5 has a sleek, lightweight design with a beautiful finish that's as good as any high-end phone. Great camera and dual-SIM features will let you use this as a travel phone too. It's top-of-the-line hardware at a low price.

There's no microSD card slot like the Samsung Galaxy S7, or removable battery like the LG G5.

Xiaomi's impressive Mi 5 has the features to stand up against the very best, but it's a shame it won't be officially available worldwide.

Xiaomi Mi 5 ( white)

The result? The Mi 5 is terrific, especially when you consider that Xiaomi's new flagship phone costs significantly less than the Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5 , without compromising on its most important features. It's fast and has a good camera. And...

Xiaomi Mi 5 review: an alarmingly good smartphone

2016 is shaping up to be a great year for smartphones and the Xiaomi Mi 5 embodies many of the best trends that we can look forward to. Like Samsung's Galaxy S7, the Mi 5 is a handsome mix of the latest specs and Android software.

Raises the bar for cheap phones in a big way ; Zero worries about performance or battery life ; Software additions are smart and helpful

Some fit and finish concerns ; Image quality is a step below the best ; Not available in the US or Europe

Xiaomi Mi 5 Smartphone Review

Light smartphone heavyweight. The newest flagship model by the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi proves that it has arrived in the premium smartphone sector. High-end specifications, a generous configuration, weight of just 129 grams, and high-quality glass...

superb price-performance ratio ; casing materials & build ; very good system performance ; bright IPS panel ; dual-SIM ; LTE Cat.9 ; decent camera...

...but not premium quality ; "only" 3 GB of RAM (64 GB version) ; no storage expansion despite 2nd slot ; availability / lack of LTE band 20 support ; (GPS)

Xiaomi's newest flagship smartphone made a very good impression in our test, and there is not much to be criticized considering the price of a mid-range handset (street price: approx. 300 Euros, ~$332, 32 GB version). Only the availability in Germany...

Xiaomi Mi 5 Review

Xiaomi is a leading smartphone maker from China whose reputation for powerful, stylish and aggressively-priced gadgets stretches well beyond the Republic's borders. With its latest flagship smartphone, the Mi 5, the brand wants to offer almost...

Pleasant design ; Very good all-around performance ; Competitive price

Underwhelming video recording ; No microSD slot ; Hard to get

While the Xiaomi Mi 5 is a great all-around smartphone, only customers in China and India will be able to score it at bargain prices, starting at the equivalent of around $300 for the 32GB model. Shoppers from the rest of the world can buy the Mi 5...

Mi Band 5 Review: Find Me A Better Budget Fitness Band, I’ll Wait

Mi Band 5 Review. The Mi Band 5 is priced at Rs. 2,499 and flaunts a 1.1-inch color AMOLED display with ~20% more screen than Mi Smart Band 4. It also comes with all-new hassle-free magnetic charging.

Vibrant Display ; Sturdy Design ; Improved Charger & Long-Lasting Battery ; High-Quality Heart Rate Monitor

Display’s Touch Response Could Have Been Better ; No Ambient Light Sensor ; Long-Charging Time

With the kind of features it offers and performance delivery, the Mi Band 5 comes across as the best value for money fitness band in the Indian market. You cannot find a better budget fitness tracker than the Mi Band 5 at this price-point. Priced at...

Xiaomi Mi 5 review: Exceptional value in a beautiful package

Xiaomi has built a reputation on over delivering and under pricing. Its latest smartphone, the Mi 5, looks to continue that legacy with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, a metal and glass build, and a 16-megapixel rear camera with 4-axis OIS, all...

Beautiful bezel-less metal and glass design ; Lightning fast fingerprint scanner ; Solid benchmark performance and battery life ; Dual SIM ; Great value

Non-expandable 32GB internal storage ; Some quirky UI issues ; Slower version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor

For a phone that's nearly half the cost of many other flagship smartphones out there, the Mi 5 offers exceptional value. You're getting flagship specs at a mid-range price, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB RAM, solid battery life, a decent...

Xiaomi Mi 5 review: flagship performance at a lower price

The Xiaomi Mi 5 represents great value for money if you're comparing it to other flagships. Compared to Xiaomi's own price though...?

: Between the improved camera, powerhouse processor and quality screen, the Xiaomi Mi 5 is a compelling proposition at a price few mobile manufacturers can even get close to. : 8.5/10

Xiaomi Mi 5 Review: A Poor Man's Flagship Smartphone - MySmartPrice
