It's been only three months since the nubia Red Magic 6 launch, and we are already getting another version of the gaming-centric flagship - nubia Red...

Universally appealing design, thin and lightweight body.

Uninspiring battery life.

No phone, especially priced at €499, needs to be perfect. It needs to be good enough for the price, and the nubia Red Magic 6R is more than good enough - it has the best Qualcomm chip, one of the best screens on the planet, and useful gaming triggers....

It may look like a gaming phone, but the Red Magic 6R is much more than that

Powerful Snapdragon 888 chip ; Long battery life ; Super smooth 144Hz refresh rate display ; Premium construction ; 400Hz trigger buttons for gaming ; Great price

Middle of the road camera system ; Gaming-centric design is not for everyone ; Can get hot under strenuous use ; Mono speaker is pretty tinny

The Red Magic 6R may look like a gaming phone, but its one of the best flagship killers you can buy today.

Underwhelming cameras ; Mediocre battery life above 60Hz ; Unintuitive software

The Red Magic 6R is a smaller, lighter version of the Red Magic 6 that doesn’t skimp on high-end specs. At this more affordable price point, it’s a great phone for gaming and much more.
