Cuisinart Black Grind & Brew Coffee Maker with Thermal Carafe

We ordered this coffee maker because it contained a grinder and was advertised as a machine that would produce a fabulous, freshly ground cup of coffee which would capture the essence of the beans and impart a perfect cup of coffee each time you brewed.

I ordered this coffee maker from the web site of Bakers and Cooks in Ocala, Fl.

Excellent Thermal carafe as it really keeps the coffee hot. I like the option of grind or regular brew.

Moisture from the steam enters the grinder container and clogs the output. A good cup of coffee using regular ground coffee but not woth the extra money for the grind option.

The filter holder is flimsy but the product does what I wanted it to do. I'm just worried about the long term, if that filter holder will last?

craffe poorly made allows water to be trapped between 2 layers of metal walls.

Love my Cuisinart Grind & Brew. We have two in our kitchen, his and hers. My husband prefers flavored, regular, coffee. I use plain decaff. We each get what we want and having two is great for when we have company.

Got this one to replace one that the brain went nuts on and had water in it, so be sure to dry it out after each use. Not having to grind the beans separately is a big plus.

I am enjoying the fresh coffee in the morning. It is easy to make the coffee in the evening and have it ready when you want it in the morning. Cleanup is not that hard. Thank you for an excellent pot.
