The clear coat on the Stainless Steel, makes it feel plastic (called Cuisinart, and they confirm it is real metal). It is supposed to be faster brewing ... but faster than what?

The coffeemaker was great.\r\nHowever, the timed brew never worked and as I gently cleaned it with a dish cleaning brush, the pot cracked and shattered. Quality issue?

Purchased this coffee maker to replace a privious model that lasted about 10+ yrs. this one is just as good, but looks sharper.

Second cuisinart I've had, it's just as good as the first one that lasted 7 years. I use the 1-4 cup button no matter how much I'm brewing.

We've had this coffee maker for 3 months, and it's worked perfectly. I was a bit hesitant due to some of the reviews, but so far, so good! Well made, very easy to program and use. You can adjust the carafe temperature and the amount of time to keep it...

This is my second Cuisinart 12 cup coffee maker. I purchased the same model as I was happy with my first one that worked well for several years, but the new one has one slight difference... and that is the coffee does bot brew as hot as the earlier model.
