Even for the clueless, good value in a solid coffee machine.

I have no idea if this machine makes good espresso or not because I have no idea if I myself can make good espresso. It tastes good to me. So what on earth am I doing with an Expobar Leva/Lever and not a Nespresso?

Straightforward to operate ; Lots of online resources (great for the inexperienced like me) ; Responsive customer service ; Well built, thus easy to dismantle and adjust

Heat exchanger, therefore tends to run hot ; Near-useless user manual

EXPOBARS MATCH THE ITALIAN LEVER MACHINES IN QUALITY, BUT THE PRICE IS 100S$ CHEAPER, AND IT WILL OUTLAST THE GRANDKIDS, MAKES PERFECT SHOTS

I DID MEGA RESEARCH, ON LEVER MACHINES,AND THE EXPOBAR COMPANY,TALKED TO ESPRESSO MACHINE REPAIRMAN, READ EVERY POSSIBLE REVIEW, B-4 I BOUGHT IT, I TRIED SHOTS FROM A FRIENDS ROCKET GIOTTO, ISOMAC TEA [THIS WAS CLOSE] AND QUICK MILL ALEXIA...

OUTSTANDING QUALITY, THE SPANIARDS CAN BUILD ESPRESSO MACHINES WELL, THE GOD SHOT IS EASY, AS GOOD ASIT GETS ON A LEVER MACHINE, EASY TO USE, LOOKS FANTASTIC ON MY COUNTER, GREAT PRICE, HAVE YET TO HAVE ABETTER SHOT ON 2000$ PLUS MACHINES

So what if its from Spain, its a solid performer and it won't break the bank.

This is a quality product and a great price. I have used it for 2 months and I cannot find a single thing wrong with it. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes to heat up but its worth the wait, i am pulling the best shots I have ever pulled, the crema is rich...

E61 Group ; Auto shutoff if water low ; Stainless steel ; Fits under standard cabinet ; Large cup warmer ; Huge drip tray ; Easy access to water tank ; Case comes off easily ; Switch between plumbed in or pour over

No water tank level indicator ; Loud Vibe pump ; Water tank could be bigger ; Only comes with 1 potafilter, have to change baskets for one or two shots ; It's from Spain

If you really want to control the quality of your drinks, this machine allows you to be as good as it gets.

I was upgrading from my 20+ year old Gaggia and had thought about a super auto machines. The rep from WLL said that they would be easier, but not an upgrade. She recommended the Expobar line. I looked at the machines and fell in love with the Lever. I...

Aesthetically beautiful. It is easy to clean and maintain. Access to internals is extremely easy should repair or replacement be necessary. Totally dependable. Properly fed it produces superb shots and magnificent microfoam. There is an Expobar Users...

Like a previous reviewer mine leaked when I first got it. The repair took about ten minutes and never reoccurred. It came with a single hole steamer end. I replaced that with a double hole end made for the Brewtus. It takes a bit of time to warm up. I...

Full quality build HX machine at a good price point, so great value in the market today.

I used a Gaggia for a few year before buying the Lever. The Gaggia did a relatively good job, but I wanted more control over the espresso quality, temperature stability and better steaming performance (and better looks!). I also checked out the praised...

This machine represents -in my humble opinion- one of the best values in semi pro espresso machines on the market today. As I perfect my skills, I will make espresso almost on par with commercial machines and what I drink in coffee bars. The Lever is...

These are some minor things / given the price I don't care too much ; Have to clear cups off warmer to refill the water reservoir ; Vibe pump is a bit loud ; Drip tray top isn't very solid (bending a little bit) ; Plastic tamper is cheap, I bought...

She's a Truly Great machine that Delivers Excellent shots won right after another and not to mention Steam and plenty of it for you'r latte's..

Buy this machine and you will never look back.

Best Bang for the money, and wow it arrived and delivered everything I was hoping for, and more ; This is a big step up from a starbucks baristia ,and WLL made this transaction one that I will never regret ; I was comparing for for 2 weeks and finally...

Bigger water Tank,thats it

Spain might have nothing but bars, Mexican food, and Chinese food, but somewhere, somehow, they are putting out decent machines.

This will be my revenge follow-up to an earlier review I made of a Mr. Coffee steam-driven coffee maker. In that review I predicted upgrading to either a Le'Lit PL041 or Expobar Office Lever. Today I am making good on those predictions.

Easy to tweak boiler temperature ; Easy to tweak brew pressure ; Large chassis; easy to tighten leaking hoses ; Drip tray sized for a party

As-shipped settings mean 8 oz cooling flushes ; To remove drip tray cover: remove portafilter, move hot water hose out of the way, move steam wand out of the way ; The hot water feature is unnecessary and has little use. A $40 water boiler should be...

This is a great entry level Heat Exchange machine, once properly set it is hard to beat for the price.

This is a great entry level Heat Exchange machine. Easy to use and sturdy enough* to produce great shots once you get everything dialed in. The drip tray is very large, which is great when you are pulling more then your average number of shots. ...

This is a great entry level Heat Exchange machine. Once properly set, the machine can produce excellent espresso and foam

The cup warming tray could be made stronger and more stable. There could be better quality control*. The boiler settings might have to be adjusted out the box in order to get the best performance. I would recommend purchasing Eric's E61 Thermometer...

If you have the money for a HX-machine with a E61 group, this one is a good one to buy and start practising with.

After big problems with getting another machine delivered (ECM giotto) and after 4 months we decided to pick up the offer to buy this Spanish brand for a good discount. Thrilled with the looks (although i rather wanted the giotto for the looks) it's a...

It's good money for value ; Big driptray ; the steamwand and the hotwaterwand are movable ; It's E61 ; Fairly big reservoir and boiler for a home user

If there is not enough water anymore in the reservoir, the machine just stops the pump. A good thing, but it can cost you that precious shot ; The feet under the machine are rediculous high. But it's fairly easy to change that ; The vibe pump is loud...
