The bottom line is that I love this machine... but it's not for everyone.

It has been about a year since I bought this machine. I was hesitant at first to spend so much money on a espresso machine but I had already experienced the demise of 2 machines (Krups) that were the plastic pump driven varieties.

This really is a beautiful machine, both visually and mechanically. Looks great on the counter when not in use. A piece of art

The boiler gets very hot and if there are kids around you have to make sure they don't touch it when it is in use (or cooling down)

GORGEOUS machine, BEST espresso

The Pavoni truly is a masterpiece. The machine is gorgeous and I feel sexy being able to pull the best shots with amazing crema. Italians DO make better lovers. Once you learn how to pull a good shot, you will realize the benefit of this machine. ...

The Romantica is a visual masterpiece on my countertop that creates a work of art in my espresso cup, too

There is nothing negative about this machine unless you are impatient with the slight learning curve associated with being new to shot pulling

Cafe quality coffee at home!

Lots of positive feedback from friends and family about the unique appearance of the coffee machine. Downside is it takes a bit longer than a automatic coffee machine in the morning to heat up because of the boiler but the coffee it makes is amazing!...

Coffee Perfection

This machine, being Italian, has it's foibles, but if you get the grind (super-fine), tamp (firm and even) and lever action right, this machine produces the best coffee I have ever had. Plus looking gorgeous on the bench top. It's a manual machine, so...

Superb espresso coffee, great looking machine, love the manual aspect (no buttons, coffee done by feel rather than programme)

It can take a bit of extra time to use, and works best when everything is hot.
