Philips Saeco Poemia Review

 

When you use the Saeco Poemia Manual Espresso Machine, no longer will you need to make trips to the coffee shop in all kinds of weather. It is convenient, fun, and saves money!

hmmmm.. not sure

Considering the cost savings, the freshness and quality of the brew, and just the all out satisfaction of home brewing, we can recommend the Philips Saeco Poemia without hesitation. The advantages of pressurized over non is enough to give this unit a try.

Couldn't find one in Oz so I bought it from Germany. Love it. Makes great expresso using expresso size cups, which is the sole purpose of this machine - if you want to make a mug of coffee you will need to do a double shot and pour in into a mug. Milk...

Good for a run!

 

I didn't expect too much for the price, however, the brand is the one I like. It didn't disappoint me at all, I can smell fresh coffee every morning, though it's just a small "shot", since I have a separate milk frother, it seems no problem to me at all.

It heats up quickly, the water tank is big enough for a week(one or two shot each morning),easy to clean,quiet small

mug is not fit,milk frother design is too close,for the beginning use it leaks.

Little Brother measure up

 

annot be moved around and it is so low I have to put the machine up on a brick to get the milk jug under it. Then it is so close to the side of the machine that half the froth spills out trying to get the jug out. It will have to be a dire emergency...

Water is placed in a tank rather than directly into the kettle so there is no risk of fracturing the kettle by putting more water in while it is still hot. It hold enough water to make at least 4 cups of cappuccino. There are double and single filters...

Too compact - can't get a mug under it. Steam wand too rigid and can't get a jug under it. It makes a lot of mess and is very fiddly to clean.
