Great to get you started but a nightmare for reliability

I really liked this machine when it worked. In my opinion it did just what I wanted. Unfortunately it frequently had parts that did not work. First the milk stopped frothing. Then it started leaking. Sunbeam sent me a new machine the em6910. It did not...

When it worked it was great ; Pretty good customer support ; Good first step in becoming a home barista

Durability issues ; Pump Problems ; leaked all the time ; Eventually replacement model died from similar problems

Clear class leader in the thermoblock segment. A good barista will make great espresso with this machine.

I sold my Wega Lyra for one of these machines. I was tired of having to flush HX machines before I could pull shots and this machine seemed to be the next evolution of Thermoblock domestic machines. For the price (it's less than 1/3 the price of the...

Unbelievable value for a machine that can pull great espresso. Despite being a 1.0 product with a few bugs the customer service is great from a company that really cares about this segment and 'geek' customers

First generation product from Sunbeam. Niggling problems with head gaskets, software and other areas

An extremely satisfied customer.

I did a lot of research on home espresso machines before purchasing this unit-Sunbeam EM6910 and it was well worth it. Paid AU$600 new in Sydney. I previously had a krups XP4050 - and although not bad overall- it was nowhere near as good as this...

Dual thermoblock means I can make coffee while steaming milk, easy to use, strong and durable, looks like I'm really serious about coffee, consistent results , machine can be programmed to alter steam and temp settings, professional group head and 2...

Hot water has its own outlet, and pulses water rather than flow smoothly. (Not really important to me. I make espresso coffee- not tea!) Slightly noisier than expected- but once used to it- not an issue ; UPDATE: I have found over the long term that...

Extremely bad product quality which simply doesn't hold up to making approx 20x coffees a week in total.

Well where do I start...

This machine pulls an EXCELLENT SHOT OF COFFEE everytime ; Twin Thermoblock for Pulling Shot & Steaming Milk together if needed (not that I did this much) ; Customer Service Amazing

Terrible quality of the internals ; Been away for repair/replacement 4 times and needs to go back again (ARGH!)

We love it.

After using a Breville ESP4 on holiday (which incidentally I made fantastic coffee with) we decided to invest in a machine (it's going too pay for itself in under 6 months) So we went into Harvey Norman without any real investigation and I asked for...

Good looking Solid Machine. 3L water tank means you don't have to keep refilling. Easy to use, Easy to clean. Great for making a dinner party load of coffees

Steamer on Left meant we had to rearrange the kitchen to fit it in ; Pump can be a bit noisy ; No auto cappuccino attachment (Kids loved using this on the Krups) ; Requires some care to Tamp the grind into the filter to prevent water forcing a channel...

Buy one you cannot go wrong.

We got this machine as a replace to a Krups. The Krups was the 3rd one in a month. So we went Sunbeam. The machine is very easy to set up and us. The large water tank at the back is great and can be filled either thru a door in the top or by removing...

Works very well. Never had any problems. Coffee it makes is very good quality, no burnt taste. Easy to use

Streamer is sometimes slow to shut off. Hot water delivery pipe does splutter

Sunbeam Twinblock

The machine works well when you first get it. After a period the seal above the group fails. This is continues to do. One friend put in larger screws to hold the top plate on. But om my the second boiler failed as well as the group seal. nNot great...

Great machine!..Very reliable-but noisy!

I have had my EM6910 for 9 Year's. Still makes great coffee! but now the milk pressure is not as high as before and takes a little while longer(over time). Also, I like the fact that you can adjust the temp of the water to make your coffee hot if you...

Loudest coffee machine I've ever heard

makes a hideous screaming noise when you use the steam wand to heat your milk, and before you think "you're just letting the steam hit the jug", i'm a barista and let me tell you that the steam head on the machine and the size of the jug makes this...

Great machine - great coffee - similar overflow problem.

We have had the same machine for a few years. It has consistently produced great coffee - but has had a leak beneath the drip tray since new. I assumed it was just something to put up with but recently, it has become worse. Any solutions? I appreciate...
