The sales of 2.1 channel speaker systems have picked up significantly in recent times. The entry level 2.1 segment is the most popular of the lot.

Very Nice Speakers

This is a very nice setup. The sound quality is superior. To truly outclass these speakers you would need to spend quite a bit more. The sub kicks out some decent bass and unless you like your bass to drown out the music it will work just fine

My only complaint is the volume control. I wish it would have been on one of the speakers because the remote just adds to the mess of cables

Sick speakers

Experienced some slight crackling at first, but it turned out to be the onboard audio-- absolutely no problems with sound card.

the sats give very clear sound. Sound way more expensive than they actually are. Amazing bass. Nice volume remote. Look great. Goes as loud as I will ever need

PHILIPS MMS171 66 watts maximum power output 2.1 Speaker

Very good sub/amp system. Looks pretty sharp. Has controls for master volume on a corded remote that you can place anywhere on the desk as well as for bass to fine-tune your sound

While the sub is very good, the satellite speakers are very cheap and sound like it. I used the satellites from my older cyber acoustic speakers and it sounds MUCH better. Unless you have some better satellites to mix with this, I would look to spend...

A Great Buy

Hadn't seen many reviews on these speakers, so was taking a chance when I bought them. But believe me, I have no regrets...these sound terrific. And they look pretty nice to. Don't hesitate to buy these. Sound as good as some of the higher priced...

PHILIPS MMS171 66 watts maximum power output 2.1 Speaker

These speakers really kick! The only problem is that they are not 66 watts as advertised. It says on the box and you can even see it in the pictures that they are 38 watts. Don't let that hold you back, because they work great.
