Great slow cooker.

Had this cooker for just over a month now and love it. Love how you can sear the meat on the stove first and then slow cook the rest of the meal. It tenders the meat nicely, does not dry it out even on an 8 hour slow cook and makes cooking a breeze.

Love....Love....Love

I picked this little gem up as a second-hand item as a try-out The seller was upgrading to a bigger Breville unit and no longer needed this one. Every time we tuck into a favoursome, tender beef/chicken curry or casserole I keep telling myself how...

Great slow cooker

The Brevile Flavour Maker is a good slow cooker, meals are full of flavour & keeps moisture in, it seals meats well, it is easy for me as you just pop everything in & hours later it is ready to go & it is super easy to clean, would recommend

Great slow cooker but coating easily scratched

I bought this a few weeks ago and so far so good. I love that you can sear on the stove so easily. It cooks evenly and is also compact and light which means I tend to use it more. Be warned our non stick coating was scratched on first use when our...

A-ok; not sure about long term durability

The stove-top-friendly aluminium pot simplifies preparing a slow cooker meal, seal meats/etc in the pot on the stove and plonk it in the cooker, done. Having said that, I do wonder how long the non-stick surface will last - it's been a couple of months...

Lives up to it's great reviews

As a newcomer to the slow cooker scene I relied heavily on the reviews here and this largely influenced my purchasing decision for this model. It is super easy to use and clean, and the fact that I can sauté the onions and brown the meat if required...

Brilliant!

I purchased my Breville Flavour Maker BSC500 when my old slow cooker failed to perform. To say I am thrilled with it would be an understatement. I love it. Being able to saute and brown your onions and meat on the cook top before placing all ingreds...

Love it!

I love this slow cooker and would recommend it to anyone! I use it almost everyday. It makes the most beautiful beef ragu. It is easy to use and great to throw things in and go to work, when you come home your house will smell divine and dinner is...

Lives up to its name!

this transforms any cheap old mixture of meat and vegetables into a simmering delight that's tender and full of flavour. Love the ease, timing and versatility of this excellent product and unlike my last Tefal one the food doesn't stick to the bottom...

Well worth the price

Removable sear pan makes it a one pot wonder! I use the low setting and the meat is always melt in the mouth. Tonight I am cooking chicken and can hardly wait. As we are a family of three I turn the leftovers into a pie a few nights later...delicious....
