Works well enough most of the time. Occasionally, the rice is a little under or over cooked.

The only complaint I have is that I thought the whole inside cooking surface was stainless steel. Only the steaming basket is stainless steel the cooking pot is aluminum with a nonstick finish. Although this is easier to clean I prefer stainless steel...
