Has made me very nervous to buy another Uniden.. Not sure what to try next, as I have previously had good experience with their products. Was a wast of $170.

This is a phone of good quality, but I'd recommend buying a better phone if it will be your primary phone. We use it very little as it's just not quite as good as our other phones.
