There is a lot of static with this phone and the charge doesn't hold. Sometimes the conversations sound like your talking from inside a tunnel. We're going to switch to digital. I wish I had noticed this was an analog phone when I bought it.

I had it for about six months and was never impressed. The sound was consistently poor and the battery had a short life before needing recharge. After six months it stopped working altogether. It's the last AT&T product I buy for a long time.

the description did not specify that if would not work as a wall phone. The hand set falls out of the phone when it is vertical even though the hook has been turned for handset holding when vertical.

The phone is overall quite basic but works well. The sound is high quality and phone calls always come through. However the buttons sometimes get stuck and also the handle gets painful to use when I'm on long phone calls.
