While perhaps not the first item you would think you might find in a handyman's tool kit, a DECT phone could prove to be a useful addition.

Doro 750x Outdoor Dect Phone

 

b>Doro are well known for their mobile phones for the elderly and those with limited sight and very good they are. However they also do phones for landlines and here is one ideal for those who work in the garden its rugged.

I was happy with both the ring tone volume and the call quality; it has a function to call between handsets that I cannot comment on as I only had a single handset
