KENWOOD JK455

A good kettle, stylish, boils quickly, but lasted about 6 months before the contacts between the base station and the kettle failed.

The first problem with this kettle, was that after 2 1/2 weeks and 50+ boilings, it still made the water taste nasty.

I was reluctant to pay too much for a kettle but the other half took a shine to this Kenwood and poo-pooed every other kettle I came up with. So the JK455 it was then.
