Very Good Inexpensive Phone

I had a nice trusty BellSouth phone, for the past 2 years or so. I was a really nice phone although the range was not very good or the battery life. The antenna broke and it was time to get a new phone.

small, light, good, sound, seems sturdy

hard to hold in the cranny of your neck, gets hot sometimes

Ahhhhhh 2.4 GHz wonder!

I bought my black Siemens 242 cordless phone on a after Thanksgiving sale spending spree in November of 2000.

Strong signal,go a block away, great battery life.

A little thin, hard to hold in the neck cranny.

Small size, Internal antenna, and caller ID in handset.

No backlight for buttons or display.
