there was a DEAD phone included out of the 4. but the Battery was good

Great buy, Lots of features. I bought it for my 70+ year old mom so she will have a phone in each room. She can use the paging function as a call for help in the house if she needs to. Wall mount base station is GREAT

My fault but ; I dropped one of the batteries when I was putting them in the hand sets and it croaked it. $14 for a new one from Radio Shack. So 4 batteries would cost $52. that would make the phones cost $18
