Uniden ELBT595

A great phone for home workers who use both wired and cellular phones.

Connects your land line, mobile phone, and Bluetooth headset. Lots of personalization options. Good sound. Tons of features.

Expensive. Complex setup. Mediocre battery life. Doesn't work with some Bluetooth phones.

Uniden ELBT 595

We've become a "networked" society and when all of our communication tools can talk to each other, that's a good thing. Now, our home phone is part of the solution, thanks to the Uniden ELBT 595 cordless phone. This innovative "Best Of" connects to...

works as advertised

This product does everything it claims! Was able to use cellphone link to base to allow answering anywhere in the house while cell charges downstairs. Synced with outlook and added pictures to my contacts. Then synced to base and other handset. total...

Great phone

Not sure what the below user meant with the 20ft limit, I've taken the dog for walks 2-3 blocks away and it worked great, both with the houseline and tapping into the cell. My phone is located near a window but I also happen to live in NYC with 10 apt...

the phone is light, dont feel like its even there, and feels cheaply made with thin plastic. But Im careful with my stuff so Im not worried and have dropped it a few times and nothing happened

Classy; but

Works great if you are not more than 20 feet away from the base. Company claims the federal government made them cut down the distance so as to not interfere with others on the 5.8 band

Concept great, implementation mediocre (at best)

Right design idea.

Bad implementation of some of the basic capabilities, questionable handset design.

I must have higher expectations of technologically advanced products than most people -- I'm surprised by the number of people who are very happy with this phone -- so I decided to add a review. Conceptually, the ELBT595 is the phone I've been ...
