Vtech DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone with 4 Handsets, Caller ID & Digital Answering System

The product works fairly well for about 3 months and then dies repeatedly - every time it is used. Won't allow addition of the 1+ needed to dial long distance when storing the incoming numbers with the one-touch feature. Batteries fail after 3 or 4...

The phones worked great right out of the package. After six months the main headset will die which I think is rather quick for a cordless phone. It will have an appearance that is charged but then completely cut off, so the led was confusing.
