Acer Veriton N282G

The Acer Veriton N282G is a sleek, versatile, business-oriented compact PC. Our review model, priced at $449 (as of November 23, 2010), features a 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 processor, 2GB of installed RAM (upgradeable to 4GB), and an integrated Nvidia Ion...

Six USB ports ; Case is easy to mount to a monitor's back

Included mouse and keyboard are uncomfortable

The Veriton VN282G's six USB ports may tempt you, but don't expect this PC to do much more than basic spreadsheet work.

Acer Veriton M4618G-Ui72601W

The M4618G-Ui72601W comes with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit pre-installed, but the restore utility will let you install a 32-bit version instead if your apps aren't 64-bit compatible. Of course, be aware that resetting the OS may erase any data you've...

Comes with both 64-bit and 32-Bit Windows 7. DisplayPort. Bloatware minimizing load screens. Very good expandability

No USB 3.0 or eSATA. Limited to low-powered discrete graphics cards

The Acer Veriton M4618G-Ui72601W has an unwieldy name, but it comes with simple features that make setting up a business system a breeze. It's fast too.

3 ultra-small PCs are ready for business

We review three of the latest tiny Windows 7 computers -- and consider Apple's Mac Mini too

Low power use. DVD drive. Beautiful design. Bluetooth support. Easy access to components

Expensive. No mounting hardware or stand. No VGA adapter. Larger than many ultra-small PCs

The granddaddy of the consumer-oriented tiny PC crowd is Apple's Mac Mini, which debuted in 2005. Apple has updated the model frequently since then; the most recent version came out in June of this year. It's a small wonder that is equal parts...

Acer Veriton N282G review

Acer's Veriton N282G mini PC has a dual-core 1.8GHz Intel Atom D525 processor, 2GB of RAM and Nvidia Ion graphics. Its performance is much as you'd expect, but there are a few features that set this mini PC apart from its rivals.

The N282G comes with a keyboard, mouse, and Windows 7 Professional, which make it a great deal

Acer Veriton N282G review

It may not be the smallest or the cheapest tiny PC, but the £400 Veriton N282G is efficient and provides the closest approximation to a tower PC's array of USB ports. Too bad it falls short of the mark on performance.

In the final analysis, while the Acer Veriton N282G's multitude of USB connections is seductive, its performance falls short of its peers.

Super Fast Computer at a Great Price

I purchased this computer to act as a server in a retail store. I purchased 16GB of RAM and installed it myself to speed it up even more. So far it is working like a charm. Had a few hiccups setting it up but the customer support was very helpful....

Acer Veriton N282G

Small, well built and perfect for an office

Not that powerful but if you put 4Gig of Ram into it then it runs 100% better and that costs £11.
