AVADirect Custom Gaming PC

AVADirect's Custom Gaming PC might not have the most inspiring moniker, but this blue beast pays homage to the old school of Performance PCs: powerful, imposing, and woefully loud. It also isn't cheap, sitting at just over $6300 (as configured, as of...

Excellent general performance ; Versatile Chassis

Incredibly Loud

A deafening chassis and stiff competition makes things tricky for AVADirect's versatile Performance PC.

AVADirect Custom Gaming PC

The AVADirect Custom Gaming PC is one of those technological terrors that exists only to smoke benchmark tests and humiliate rivals on the game grid.

Fastest overclock of a six-core processor yet. Air-cooled. Intelligent graphics card placement. Playable scores on all game tests. Blu-ray burner. Three-year warranty.

Loud fans. Obscenely high price. Not incredibly practical. Some stylistic choices may be too over the top. Expensive SSD drives. Could really use a data drive.

AVADirect Custom Gaming PC Review

In our world, performance and silence go together about as well as Aliens and Predators. Each one has its appeal, but put them together, and you generally get a turd.

Amazingly quiet gaming performance

Spooled-up optical drive gets too loud

AVADirect took gaming to heart with its silent PC. Besides overclocking its 3.3GHz Core i5-2500K to 4.7GHz using a Prolimatech Megahalems cooler, AVADirect matches that chip with Asus’s three-slot ENGTX580 card. With its beefy build and giant fans, the...
