Dell OptiPlex 9030 Touch

With its easily accessible chassis and pivot-capable, 10-point touch screen, the Dell OptiPlex 9030 Touch is a solid all-in-one desktop that will help your business transition to Windows 8.1 Professional over the next few years.

10-point touch screen can pivot. HDMI-in and -out ports. Physical shutter on camera. IT serviceable.

Wired keyboard and mouse.

The Dell OptiPlex 9030 Touch is a good business desktop, with the touch screen that's becoming almost a necessity for using Windows 8.1 Professional. That said, the HP EliteOne 800 holds on to its Editors' Choice award for all-in-one business systems...

Dell OptiPlex 9030 review: A secure and businesslike 23-inch AIO desktop

Dell's latest top-end all-in-one desktop offers an excellent range of security options and can be configured to handle a variety of business workloads.

Compact, understated design ; Good CPU and memory performance ; Extensive security options ; Good selection of ports ; Built-in power supply ; Tool-free internal access ; Quiet in operation

Slow 5,400rpm hard drive ; Discrete GPU option not yet available ; Touchscreen option not yet available in the UK

Security — of both the physical devices and the data they house — is obviously vital for mobile computers, but it's also important for desktop PCs too. Dell's new OptiPlex 9030 takes security very seriously, offering a range of options that, if...

Dell OptiPlex 9030 review

A sleek, simple and, unfortunately, unsurprising business all-in-one PC

Ultra-sleek design ; Air-tight security options ; Almost zero bloatware

Comparatively pricey ; Serious CPU issues ; Long boot times ; Sluggish performance

The OptiPlex 9030 is simply tough to recommend for the majority of businesses. As a less-than-powerful system with a bit of panache, this all-in-one PC is one machine best left on the shelf.
