Clever design you can mount behind LCD

Very limited expandability

Dell packs a well-made package into a small, though not expandable, case that you can mount behind the monitor.

Service and support

Dell OptiPlex SX280

Flexible, space-saving design; latest Intel technologies fight obsolescence; DVD drive hot-swappable and compatible with Latitude D notebooks; design consistent across all peripherals.

No room for expansion.

Thanks to its diminutive size and next-generation Intel chipset and CPU, the Dell OptiPlex SX280 is perfect for small-business and corporate buyers who need future-proof, small-form-factor desktops.

Dell helps companies get down to business while keeping machine size down too.

Fine for running business applications. Space-saving design. Hot-swappable optical drives.

Limited upgradeability.

One of the most trouble free systems I've ever owned!

In summary, I wish more PCs were smooth to work with as this. Sure, its not a blazing fast GAME machine, it's not ABOUT that. It's a solid, fast, no-BS machine aimed at working professionals. I've never had a "Blue Screen" I can surf the net with ease,...

Windows XP Pro lets you finish projects quickly, No nonsense like Vista &7. Processor FAST,P4,with 2 gigs Ram max, plays videos flawlessly. Plenty USB & Audio Ports on back & front! Nice size. Always surprised what it can do! Going online effo

It is what it is. Designed to be an office machine, but capable of so much more. Cons? OK, it only has a DVD Rom player built-in. Buy a USB DVD Burner for $15 if you need it. Has DVI video out jack to monitor, not VGA. Adapters R CHEAP PLENTY EZ fix
