HP Compaq 6000 Pro

All-in-one desktops generally have a tough time fitting into the business realm. Although they're convenient space-savers, they're generally pricier than similarly equipped tower models. More important, however, those svelte chassis come at the cost of...

Less cost-effective than its competitors

HP's business-centric all-in-one lacks the bells and whistles of consumer-oriented machines, but it offers strong performance and some room to tinker.

Review: HP Compaq 6000 Pro All-in-one Business PC – Updated

Ever since the first iMac, computer manufacturers have been finding ways to combine all the parts of a computer into a single device. HP is doing this with the Compaq 6000 and they are marketing it to businesses as an All-in-one Business PC.

So this machine has been nothing but problems so me. I just barely made it though the tests, and even simple things like watching movies would cause it to lock up. I am not so concerned about the low performance tests, but the instability of the system...

HP-Compaq small form factor computers

In some way, I wish I needed more machines, I'd like to buy more.

I firstf bought a 7900 machine...liked it so much that I then bought a 6000 machine. Liked it so much, I then bought a 4000 machine ; These machines are quality products, scrupulously clean, without wear or damage. One can easil;y get a lot of...

Rudimentary bios. Altho these machine are perfectly suited for my needs in medical and insurance businesses, others may need a more configurable bios. Inexpensive keyboard supplied

HP 6000PRO

Clean. Easy set up. Price was awesome. Cheaper to buy one like this than build one. Win 7 alone would be $100.00 plus, so why not. I got it for my mother in law that has Alzheimer's. She isn't in the late stages so she play's games and checks the news...

Nothing I can think of. Even if it dies in a half a year it was only $155.00 on sale, it's still worth it

Good for the price

Bought for a small child that will play youtube videos and DVD's. I had an old computer that had XP and to buy a new copy of Windows 7 Home costs about the same as this refurb did. Purchased this unit when it was sub hundred.

Windows 7 Pro 64 bit ; 3 year warranty, if they back it up ; Lots of usb ports ; Holds up to 16 gb DDR3 RAM ; Very quiet and foresee good service from this unit

You have to be able to deal with small hard drive and 2gb of ram. I might upgrade RAM if issues arise ; Some minor scratches and missing two front rubber feet ; The power supply is proprietary, with a weird shape and connections and might be pricey if...

Good Starter system for PLEX.

It serves it purpose for running Plex Media Server software to drive my Roku Clients. It runs well and is pretty quiet. I have ordered a bigger hard drive and more ram just to bring up to speed a little. Good product but wait till its on sale like I...

Comes 100% functional ; very clean inside and out

2GB ram is barley enough if you ask me ; 80GB Hard drive is too small ; It comes with the cheapest USB keyboard and mouse that I have ever seen ; Weak 240 watt Power supply with non-standard connectors. No way to upgrade the power supply so you will be...

Decent Replacement for WinXP PCs

Purchased 20 of these to replace aging WinXP machines in the office. For less than the cost of a Windows 7 Pro upgrade they can't be beat if the hardware meets your needs. Definitely "scratch and dent" units but I expected that going in. Don't expect...

Low cost, 10 USB ports, Win7 Pro x64, dual monitor support
