HP Envy 34 All-in-One PC Review: One Size Fits Some

One of the few big screen all-in-ones delivers on the looks and features but disappoints -- like many AIOs -- in speed.

Attractive design with intelligent layout ; Qi charger in base and detachable webcam ; Easily replaceable/upgradable memory and storage ; Reasonably color accurate, bright display

Because of mobile GPU and display configuration, not great for gaming ; No HDR support ; Graphics performance like a laptop

Very few computers make a statement just by sitting on top of your desk.

HP's ugly-duckling desktop becomes a swan

Looks run in the family now, but the 2017 edition of the Envy Curved All-in-One 34 has the brains, too.

Artfully designed with a big curved display and a far better-than-average sound system, the 2017 edition of the computer also includes welcome touches like a Qi-compatible charging pad.

The display is big, but its quality can't compare with smaller but better displays of competitors. HP also needs to reimagine the bundled keyboard and mouse as well.

A winning design and unusually good sound system highlight HP's first-rate reimagining of the HP Envy Curved AIO 34 for 2017.

HP Envy 34 Curved All-in-One (2017)

The latest HP Envy 34 Curved All-in-One desktop PC mates an outstanding 34-inch widescreen display with impressive processing power. It's a terrific combination for hard-core multitasking, gaming, or simply kicking back and watching the latest...

Gorgeous, feature-rich 34-inch screen. Powerful Intel Core i7 processor. Good storage configuration. USB-C port with Thunderbolt 3. HDMI input and output ports. Excellent speakers. Touch-sensitive volume controller. Secure pop-up webcam.

Curved screen takes some adjustment, especially for artwork. Not wall mountable. Some streaming services don't support 21:9 aspect ratio.

The new HP Envy 34 Curved All-in-One (2017) eclipses last year's model with twice the SSD storage, a more attractive chassis, a faster processor, an improved keyboard and mouse, and superior ergonomics. It reaps all the benefits of its new design with...

HP Envy 34c Media Display

The HP Envy 34c, a hulking 34-inch curved-screen monitor designed for multimedia use, delivers solid color and gray-scale performance and is equipped with a strong set of speakers.

Gorgeous design. Accurate colors. Dark blacks. Powerful speakers.

Middling viewing-angle and gaming performance. Tilt-only stand. Stingy warranty.

Conclusion Whether you're working with multiple documents and lengthy spreadsheets or streaming your favorite movies, you'll feel a little closer to the action with the HP Envy 34c Media Display. Its massive curved panel uses VA technology to deliver...

HP Envy Curved 34-A051 Signature Edition All-in-One

The HP Envy Curved 34-A051 Signature Edition is a powerful, high-end all-in-one PC with a 34-inch curved display that gives you an unprecedented amount of workspace for your Web browsing, game playing, and general computing needs.

34-inch ultra-wide curved screen with 21:9 aspect ratio and Technicolor certification. Powerful Intel Core i7 processor. Solid-state drive and hard drive for storage. HDMI-in port. Microsoft Signature Edition prep means no bloatware. Strong performance...

No side-mounted ports. Most movie and video streaming services can't take advantage of the screen's 21:9 aspect ratio yet. Curved display takes a little getting used to. Keyboard feels flimsy.

Conclusion The HP Envy Curved 34-A051 Signature Edition is a system that eclipses the wow factor of the Apple iMac 27-inch with 5K Retina Display, as well as the Asus Zen AiO Pro Z240IC. It costs a pretty penny, but it offers a lot of power, storage,...

HP Envy 34 All-in-One Desktop review: A big-screen AIO for power users and creators | ZDNet

Missing the 27-inch iMac? HP's updated Envy AIO provides strong performance and steps up to a striking 34-inch wide-screen display.

34-inch 5K display ; Plenty of customisation options ; Good performance ; Versatile design ; Accessible RAM and SSD slots

Display doesn't swivel ; No internal expansion slots

While the Envy 34 isn't quite in the high-end workstation class, it's certainly a worthy alternative and successor to the 27-inch iMac for creators and power users, providing stronger performance, a larger display, and a more versatile design for a...

HP Envy 34 review: A stylish, but expensive, widescreen all-in-one PC

HP's use of the 'Envy' brand name has often seemed to smack of hubris -- especially when used with something as mundane as an inkjet printer. But we can't help admiring the sheer, all-out extravagance of this latest addition to the Envy range. As well...

Impressive 34-inch widescreen display ; Strong performance ; Built-in wireless charging for mobiles

Expensive, single configuration available in the UK ; Sub-4K resolution ; Poor expansion and upgrade options

HP Envy 34 All-in-One review: A true iMac challenger

The HP Envy 34 All-in-One impresses thanks to its vibrant 34-inch 5K screen and powerful performance. It is a legitimate rival to the Apple iMac.

Bright 34-inch 5K display ; Satisfying audio quality ; Powerful enough for work and play ; Expandable memory and storage

Finicky wireless charger

The asking price of the various configurations, even the entry-level $1,999 model, will certainly dent your wallet. However, considering the gorgeous 34-inch 5K display, powerful Intel Core CPU and Nvidia RTX 30-series GPU, along with expandable RAM...
