Refurbished Problem

Shipping was not what I paid for and the product arrived with a Trogon virus.Computer is fast and works as advertised. Switching from windows 7 to 8.1 has a learning curve.

PC is as described, best one I found out there without having one built. Easy setup with free win 10 download upgrade.

The USB, headphones and mic ports could have been better situated. The drop down front would have been easier to access than the top. Fan a little noisy.

This replaced my old HP PC. The 125Gb ssd was too small for my requirements and I have replaced it with a 250Gb ssd.. It is now an excellent machine fulfilling my requirements

HP Pheonix 810-477 G7S86EA

Very easy to set up. Fast Quiet Clean installation without too many unwanted Apps

Windows 8.1 which although easy to upgrade to Windows 10 took a little effort. (The upgrade caused some issues with Outlook installation and could not send e-mail until located a fix on Microsoft site). Would have preferred Windows 10 installed.

HP 810-475na

Superb spec of CPU and GPU with OS installed on an SSD plus a 3TB HDD for storage. Ability to upgrade with ease - additional RAM, 2nd SSD / HDD and a Blu-Ray writer. Typical HP quality design and build with high quality materials.

Nothing is exactly as required if you "buy off the shelf", and no upgrades / configuration offered (does allow the personal touch though - to fine tune). Not sure about gloss black plastic - it looks smart when new but is easily damaged.

Superfast start-up, complete with silent running makes this the ultimate computer...able to handle day to day computing tasks with ease and also able to handle even the most graphically demanding games. Also very easy to setup initially.

the generic keyboard & mouse supplied are so basic...with the cost of this machine a high spec keyboard / mouse, would of been more appropriate.

HP ENVY Phoenix 810-211na Gaming PC

Plenty of storage space and much faster than my previous machine that I was replacing.

Could have some more power leads for expansion. My main problem was so many'incompatibility' issue when trying to add some of my necessary software! If I had known this prior to the purchase I would definitely have abandoned a PC with Windows 8 (ugh!)...
