HP Media Center Photosmart PC m1050y (3.8 GHz)

 

Loaded with the latest processor and multimedia components and featuring a big, bright, high-definition display, the m1050y will satisfy casual gamers and digital video buffs alike.

Good performance in a Media Center Edition PC. Dual-format/dual-layer DVD burner. Big hard drive, plus Personal Media Drive slot for additional hard drive expansion.

Not much room internally for expansion. Speakers are merely adequate.

Still, the m1050y continues to impress. Loaded with the latest processor and multimedia components and featuring a big, bright, high-definition display, it will satisfy casual gamers and digital video buffs alike.

The new HP Media Center Photosmart PC m1050y Series is currently your best bet in a multimedia PC. It's a feature-rich product that melds the PC and entertainment worlds quite impressively.

Personal Media Drive. PCI Express video. Huge hard disk. Well-laid-out wireless keyboard, Lots of software

Must use two or more programs to juggle music content. Just-adequate 2.1 speakers

The best mainstream PC chassis for Media Center Edition 2005, with powerful components. Quiet enough for the living room.
