HP Pavilion a1120n

The a1120n is another inexpensive Media Center from HP without a TV tuner: If you can live without TV, the Pavilion a1120n is a good PC for students and home users toting iPods and digicams.

Media Center Edition OS in a sub-$1,000 package. Seamless integration between HP?s mul-timedia apps and MCE. Nice 17-inch LCD.

No PCIe or AGP expansion slot. Ball mouse.

HP Pavilion p6140f

If you're looking for a bit more "oomph" from your desktop PC, the quad-core-equipped HP Pavilion p6140f gives you the power to edit photos and videos quickly at a reasonable price.

Quad core performance. 8GB of memory. 1TB hard drive. 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless. Nice styling. Good internal expansion.

Crapware. Weak integrated graphics.

Unfortunately, the p6140f shares the same problem that most of its HP brethren have: a load of crapware and a short 60-day Norton Internet Security subscription. There are the usual suspects: Microsoft Office 60-day trial, "My HP Games" by Wild...

HP Pavilion dv5t

We knew that the HP Pavilion dv5t represented a makeover for the Pavilion line with its chrome inside, "frameless" screen, and HDTV tuner. Now it's getting the benefits of Intel's new Centrino 2 platform.

Chrome interior is a different look. Powerful discrete graphics card. Multiple battery options. Integrated HD tuner. HDMI-out. eSATA/USB 2.0 combo port.

Should have been lighter than its predecessor.

HP Pavilion d4100y

With a dual-core processor, virtually unlimited storage, and other powerful components, the HP Pavilion d4100y is a digital storeroom for your digital life.

HP Personal Media Drive equals unlimited storage. Twin TV tuners. HP Image Zone (photos) and iTunes (music).

Security software has only 60 day subscription. Lackluster styling. Previous d4100y had a 21 inch widescreen monitor.

don't miss the hp pavilion d4100y's ratings and test results.

HP Pavilion dm1z review - Liliputing

HP Pavilion dm1z review

The HP Pavilion dm1z is probably one of the best thin and light laptops you can find for under $450. The AMD E-350 processor and Radeon HD 6310 give the laptop more kick than you’d get from any Intel Atom powered laptop, but the chipset isn’t as...

HP Pavilion HDX9320EA

Half desktop, half laptop, this monster multimedia machine weighs in at a whopping 7kg. But where there's weight, there's a 20.1-inch screen on a double-hinged bracket. The near 1680x1050 resolution screen just misses out on being full HD, but you...

Despite packing more power (and weight) than a WWE wrestler on the 'roids, the HDX isn't a gaming rig - it's a mighty media machine. Just be sure to pick up a wireless mouse to go with it. HP Pavilion HDX9320EA is tagged with HP, desktop, high...
