It's nice

 

I bought this for my dad to replace a 7 year old laptop running vista. He just likes to surf the web so i thought this would suit him well with a huge 21" screen bigger than a laptop. Windows 8 is not for the beginner so i was compelled to do something...

It does the basics of what a computer should do. It can browse the internet with ease. This is for a person with basic knowledge of the internet like my father. It will get from point A to point B if the user knows what they want to get to

It is not windows, so if you want to rur flash it may not like it. It is not as portable as a laptop.If you want to trek around you will have to plug it in like a desktop. The interface acts like a giant mobile android phone without the phone feature....

An Office Calendar used well.

 

We use it near strictly for Google Calendar for our business. It's excellent. Runs Google Calendar fast on a nice big touch screen. Came with a keyboard and mouse we use for typing. Keyboard + Touch Screen is actually a beneficial combo for productivity

It seems once every 2 months or so it wont wake up. When pressing power button the light stays on as if it's powered on, but nothing happens. To resolve each time, must unplug (then waited a few secs to be safe), plugged back and and back to normal....

A Great AIO and HDMI touch Monitor

 

I am extremely pleased with the HP Slate 21 Pro. The Android tablet bit works flawlessly and is very responsive. The display is gorgeous! Netflix movies look and sound great, the built in speakers are surprisingly good. Also works great as an HDMI...

Superb 21.5" IPS display with 1000:1 contrast ratio ; Works great out of the box ; Excellent HDMI Touch monitor ; Nice sound for videos.music, and movies ; Lots of ports

Highly reflective display ; Buttons for OSD controls very hard to see in dark

Beautiful screen, it works as advertised

 

I am very happy with this 21" Android tablet as a family internet machine. It is not a Windows or Mac. But that is not a bad thing. It looks to be an excellent value for money computing solution for me. In fact, I am buying a second one.

Big screen nice sound and Android 4.3
