Intel Beast Canyon NUC 11 Extreme review: A true mini gaming PC

The Intel NUC 11 Extreme is a costly barebones kit that still manages to exceed expectations. You'll need a graphics card inside to see its full power, though.

If you're okay with sacrificing just a bit of extra heft for heaps more power, the Intel NUC 11 Enthusiast Kit mini PC packs quite a CPU and GPU wallop into its petite chassis.

An 8-liter barebones gaming PC with a big RGB skull on it

+ Very small for a gaming desktop ; + Fits longer discrete GPU than last generation ; + Three-year warranty ; + Lots of ports

- Very pricey ; - Divisive RGB skull

The Intel NUC 11 Extreme Kit (Beast Canyon) is a miniature barebones desktop enabled by Intel's Compute Element and a case that fits discrete graphics cards. It's pricey for what it is, however.
