Great, quiet, small, fast

It is incredibly small but powerful. Easy to put together with reasonably clear instructions. Almost silent in operation

Not cheap and limited expandability. As well as memory and SSD, you need a PCI express half-mini network card (if you don't want to use a USB network adapter) and a mini HDMI to HDMI cable

Really great little box. Small, silent (once the minimum fan speed is decreased) and quick - Windows 8.1 boots in under 5 seconds. Great for media centre duties, and low to mid-range gaming/emulators

Out of the box the fan is set with a minimum speed of 40%, which isn't overly noisy but is audible. Dropping this down to 20% in the bios silenced the box
