Raspberry Pi B+: Same tiny price, more USBs and microSD

Raspberry Pi Model B review

It's a fully functioning PC that's barely bigger than a credit card

Ultra-cheap computing for the masses Plenty of potential uses

Technical inclination essential

You'll need an insatiable desire to tinker with technology in order to get the most from the Pi. If so, the Pi's low cost and extensive tweakability make it a no-brainer.

Raspberry Pi Model B+ review

The Model B+ squeezes more USB ports and 40 GPIO pins onto the handheld form-factor

Some add-ons won't work; Same processor and RAM; Shifted mechanical layout

The Raspberry Pi Model B+ is an undeniable improvement over its predecessor. Extra USB ports mean you no longer require a hub, and more reliable power circuitry means fewer crashes.

Raspberry Pi Model B+ review

An updated offering with more I/O and more compact design

Still low cost, smaller and more standard shape, updated I/O options, more USB ports, more memory

Upgrades could have been slightly bigger, performance could be slightly better

The Raspberry Pi Model B+ booted up first time and worked flawlessly from the get-go. Unlike the original, after it runs through its hardware detection and configuration, users are now greeted with a configuration menu as opposed to a list of commands,...

Great case

I used mine with some sticky Velcro to attach my Raspberry PI B+ to the back of my monitor. (I mounted it on the back, near the edge, so the WiPi and bluetooth dongle slightly sticking out, and are not blocked by the monitor

The top of the case seems to hold on pretty good so far, but I would feel better if there was more of a latch, or other stronger connection between the top and bottom halves
