Great Case

Since Shuttle MB uses a special header for PRT port, you don't have a choice but buy this kit if you want a DB25 PRT port.

Resonable price to add a legacy DB25 printer port to Shuttle box. Cable and connector quality is good.

comes with a broken mounting/fasten bolt. Luckily I found a replacement in my junk hardware. Otherwise it will need an RMA.

Nonstandard header

Shuttle is now using nonstandard USB headers as well. Come on guys, there was nothing wrong with the original standard, quit making us buy wierd cables just for something as simple as printer or USB connectivity.

What can you say, its a printer cable. Plug it in and it works with your legacy printer

Too bad Shuttle keeps using proprietary headers for these things. Regular printer cables will not work due to the closer spacing of the header on the motherboard. Thats why you have to buy one of these if you own a Shuttle XPC

It works!

It works as stated - it's an LPT parallel port. The cable length and connector are fitted for Shuttle cases

Price. $$ for a part that cost ten cents to make

Already Included Some Models

Don't order until you get the case, because at least in SN85G (754 pin AMD) it comes installed at the factory. Apparently it isn't on the 950 pin SN95 from other reviews. Shuttle's specs are misleading.
