Shuttle – SG31G2

The all new Shuttle XPC Glamor SG31G2 is designed based on Intel® G31 Express Chipset supporting the upcoming 45nm Intel® Core™ 2 multi-core processors. Featuring Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 with Intel® Clear Video Technology you can now...

We use a lot of Shuttle products and they have been awesome with other products like the SG45H7 and those Primas barebone systems. It's just this model gave me hell with 2 of the same back to back orders.

It's sold out and not available to New Egg customers

Bought 2. 1st one worked o.k. but has problems starting the monitor, and had other quirks like restarting anytime it wanted to. 2nd one had the same problem with the monitor not starting. Had to reset the BIOS everytime this happen which it should not...

Shuttle Disaster

save some change and buy a Micro / Mini ATX motherboard and a decent capable case

Small Form Factor

Bios for this model are a bust. Check Sudhian Forums. Bios won't even allow you to adjust fan settings without a no POST

great little box

would it be so much trouble to throw in another sata cable? had to salvage a sata off another computer to hook up my hdd and dvd drive.

Small size, decent number of ports, easy setup, low noise, cool. Runs great with 2.9Ghz C2D, 2GB ram, 500GB HDD, and DVD drive. could even OC the processor a little bit without worrying about heat too much

1 sata cable, 250w PSU (could be a bit more powerful)

Portable Gamer

I originally built this for my mom just as an everyday pc. Once I saw that I could spiff it up a little bit, I gave her my two year old dell. She'll never know the difference.

This thing is great. I had concerns about the power supply not being able to handle the components I had in mind. Currently, I have an Intel E8400 Core2, 2x 10k velociraptors, 4gb, and a higher end 8800gt powered graphics card. This system has no...

The fan gets loud when I game. Not too bad. I have decent speakers so that drowns out the fan noise

Shuttle what is wrong?

Shuttle needs to take some lessons from Apple.

It turned on when I first got it

A defective product is one thing, but charging me to return a defective product and making me jump through hoops to get a replacement is another. They seriously need to step up their customer service. If you own any shuttle products, pray it never...

I love these things!

It is probably time to stop including an IDE cable and throw another SATA cable in the box. If anyone out there is like us, I have a ton of IDE cables hanging out. A more powerful and modular power supply would be the only thing that would make this...

This is the 5th and 6th Shuttles we have built for the office, including two built for servers. They are absolutely a charm to work on and are super quiet and durable. Love that the newer XPC's have DVI outputs. Layout is great

Not a whole lot of space between the case and PCIe slot. Maybe drop the PCI slot and move the PCIe over for dual slot video cards? Of course, what am I saying, the PSU probably needs more power for these kind of applications

Suttle SG31G2V2

Would probably make a great media server with the addition of a video card with HDMI.

Compact, very quiet, well built and engineered case. Remote CPU cooler is unusual and works well (eliminates the giant fan and heat sink sticking up in the middle of the case. Bought this for my wife and it has run well from first start up. Put a...

Will add a video card at a later date. Space is very tight for a card (fan clearance). Came with two serial ports- will be the first thing tossed

Power Supply

Size and configuration, looks wonderful

Power supply is no good, bad, kept rebooting pc. in less than 12 hours use... they want bucks. and because of strange mounting you are stuck...you are talking about bucks and time before, memory, dvd and hard drive. It is Junk don't buy! It will be...

Shuttle SG31G2V2 Intel Core 2 Quad / Core 2 Duo / Celeron 400 Intel Socket T(LGA775) Intel G31 Intel GMA 3100 Barebone

Very fast for its size. Quiet but delivers performance

The lights on the front are very bright and annoying. I blocked it with tape which ruins the look of the shuttle
