Impressed Overall

The unit I received had minor internal assembly damage. The CPU heatsink was not installed properly, so in order to make it fit within the case, the motherboard was forced down. One of the plastic standoffs had broken off. I repaired this easily with...

I am running Windows 7 64-bit. No installation problems ; Extremely quiet. It sits under the desk, about 4-feet from my ears, and I can't hear it ; Decently powerful Core i3 CPU ; Small size ; Good connectivity (mini-PCIe, SATA III, USB 3.0, Media card...

Would have preferred Intel gigabit ethernet and USB 3.0 chips ; Minor problem with re-initializing Blu-ray drive on USB 3.0 port after sleep

Fast & Small, but no Hyper-V on Win8

For an HTPC this system is probably an overkill. If you need an HTPC barebone, consider Zotac ZBOX-ID81-U - it's $130 less, and its CPU draws only 17 Watt. This system has a great potential to be a wonderful mini-server, given the power of Core i3 CPU...

Very powerful for such a small box ; Smooth Intel graphics ; Windows 7 and 8 are really zippy ; UEFI BIOS ; USB 3.0

Windows 8 fails consistently *after Hyper-V is installed*. Win8 runs perfectly otherwise. I tried installing Hyper-V several times, from clean installation of Win8 to upgrade from Win7. And yes, Virtualization in BIOS is enabled. I know it's not...

Finally a speedy nettop

I've been looking for a replacement for my Dell Zino HD for a while. My criterias were pretty simple: small and decently fast. However ever since Dell discontinued the Zinos (desirable especially since they had the quad core option), everything on the...

3rd Gen i3 Processor ; Easy to install everything ; Built-in Wifi ; Comes with Vesa Mount

Get's kinda hot. We will see how long it will last

Zotac Zbox Id82

If space is your main issue then this is the perfect system assuming you are not going to play games.Stick min of 8GB memory and a SSD and away you go .Fast and responsive in a small form factor. This is third one purchased.

No bad points as long as one understands why you are purchasing this unit as oppose to something larger.

Zotac Zbox Id82

I bought it primarily as a media streaming for local files and also for internet TV catch up etc. and for this use its fine, so much so I have a second one for another room in the house. I originally bought two Boxee Boxes but they have turned out to...

Only downside was that the screws for attaching the holder to the rear of a TV are too short for my LG TV!

Very quiet / silent machine. Extremely quick boot up time - the 'bundle' I put together is in this list: http://www.ebuyer.com/lists/list/74681 with that it flies along. Windows 8 works OK on it, only drivers not installed automatically are Bluetooth...

BIOS flash upgrade was necessary to get the proper 'wake from USB from hibernation / sleep' functionality to work correctly in Windows (it would go to sleep OK but wouldn't wake up without hitting the power button - ie remote control wouldn't work to...
