Canon PowerShot A1200 Review

So you have been contemplating a digital camera, but are afraid that all the cameras in the market are complicated to use.

The Canon PowerShot A1200 sells in India for a street price of Rs. 5,800. This is a good option to go for, if you are just getting into photography or just want to use this camera for casual purposes.

Canon Powershot A1200

The Canon Powershot A1200 is a straightforward, inexpensive digital camera. It takes a very good snapshot and offers fantastic value for money. It is one of the few digital cameras to offer a viewfinder. It has 12 megapixels and a 4x optical zoom lens.

Picture quality - viewfinder - value for money - High Definition movies

Over strong pink skin tones - shutter lag times

If you are looking for a simple digital camera that offers that bit of extra quality for a low price then the Canon Powershot A1200 could well be your answer. It offers greater picture quality than a lot of more expensive digital cameras. There are...

PowerShot A1200

Viewfinder is a great fallback for the low light photo settings, so I didn't take many points off for the image quality on the LCD in those settings.

4x Optical zoom, Viewfinder, simple controls, very reasonable price

In low light settings I noticed that the picture seemed grainy on the LCD, but fortunatly didn't show up in the photo
