Canon PowerShot A610 review

Canon PowerShot A610

Manual exposure controls; excellent feature set for its class; great image quality; easy to use, with a convenient function button for quick setting changes; compatible with lens converters and other accessories.

Flimsy SD/MMC-slot and port covers; slightly stiff function button; not quite as fast as some competitors.

The Canon PowerShot A610 puts a great feature set in an affordable camera that produces above-average image quality, making it an excellent option for a wide variety of photographers.

Canon Powershot A620 Digital Camera Review

The Canon Powershot A620 is one of the successors to the Canon A95.

Great image quality ; Quick operation ; Excellent battery life ; Many manual modes and creative modes

Slider switch for capture and playback modes can be hard to operate ; Zoom may be too slow for some (but not me) ; If you upgrade from an A95, you'll have to trade your Compact Flash for SD memory

I highly recommend this camera. Its quick operation and image quality provide a camera that will not disappoint. This camera is a great choice for someone who wants top-notch quality, wants some manual/creative controls and someone that doesn't mind a...

The D30 operates just like the other mid-range to professional EOS bodies. Inmanual exposure mode, shutter speed is set with the finger wheel by the shutterrelease while aperture is controlled by the thumbwheel on the back of the camera.

The D60 is a great addition to your existing Canon system. The resolution isapproximately the same as a 2700 dpi film scanner, with no time invested inscanning and retouching.

An affordable camera with a great feature set that produces above-average image quality.

Flimsy SD/MMC-slot and port covers ; Slightly stiff function button ; Not quite as fast as some competitors

We saw little noise at low ISO settings and acceptable visual noise levels at higher ISOs. There was less purple fringing than we've noticed in photos from some A-series cameras in the past, which may be the result of the A610's G-series lens.
