Canon PowerShot Elph 150 IS

The Canon PowerShot Elph 150 IS packs a long zoom lens into a small body, but its images have way too much noise.

Inexpensive. 10x zoom range. Sharp images. 24mm wide-angle lens. Compact.

Very noisy images. Low-resolution rear display. Video limited to 720p.

Performance and Conclusions The Elph starts and shoots in a reasonable 1.4 seconds, but it's a little slow to focus, requiring 0.2-second to do so, and can only shoot a frame every 1.5 seconds in continuous drive mode. The Sony WX80 is a little slower...

Ok camera

This was a gift for my girlfriend. She likes it other than having to manually turn off the auto flash as it gets annoying

Great pixels and can take a smooth picture as well as camera shots. Zoom is pretty awesome as it can zoom pretty far

The only gripe I have with this camera is the auto flash sucks! No matter the light or dark it will flash with every picture. Had to manually turn off as ti would flash on a bright sunny day

Camera very compact and easy to use. Nice range of adjustments and zoom features. Automatic functions work well in most situations. All focusing/composition must be done on view panel. No direct thru the lense sight viewing possible. So- taking...

PowerShot ELPH150IS

Overall this is an excellent camera. It has, in my opinion, only two shortfalls. The first is a lack of a glare-proof viewing screen. The second is there is no separate viewfinder to overcome the first deficiency.
