Canon PowerShot SD600 review

main page A lot of cameras in the crowded and competitive digital point-and-shoot market are all flash and no substance. They add all sorts of extra gimmicks such as fancy slide shows and colorful borders that don't actually contribute to the cameras'...

Excellent image quality; top-notch build quality; quick performance.

Basic feature set.

Despite its no-frills feature set, the Canon PowerShot SD600 delivers quality photos and strong performance in a small package.

Canon Powershot SD600

While the design of the new SD600 probably won't turn a lot of heads, some of its new imaging attributes are certainly worth a second look. In particular, the SD600's ability to shoot relatively low-noise images at ISO 800 is a huge plus for anyone who...

Canon PowerShot SD600 Camera Review

The SD600 lacks certain features, such as built-in memory, image stabilization, manual exposure control, and a live histogram. These would have been handy, but they're not critical, and their absence hardly hurts the camera's appeal

The Canon PowerShot SD600 is a great compact digital camera. It might not have many bells and whistles, but its quick performance and excellent images make this a great choice for anyone who wants their camera to simply take pictures.

Canon PowerShot SD600

The Canon PowerShot SD600 Digital ELPH is the 2006 successor to the SD450 Digital ELPH. While it features the same 3x zoom lens, Canon plopped in a new image sensor which is suppose to produce images with less noise. And this is no minor upgrade, here...

Small, Brilliant colour performance

Poor performance at high ISO levels

Performed well across a broad range of tests and is only really let down by its high ISO performance.
