Casio Exilim Pro EX-P600

The Casio Exilim Pro EX-P600's solid image quality, versatile lens, excellent LCD, pleasing design, and impressive menus outweigh mediocre recycle time and slightly dark exposures.

Large, bright LCD and 4X zoom. Included remote. Simple menus and onscreen help for beginners, with higher-end features for more experienced shooters.

Expensive. Slow recycle time. Some dark exposures.

Casio Exilim Pro EXP600 Digital Camera Camera

We had a hard time deciding whether the silver, metal-clad Exilim Pro fit better into our point-and-shoot category or our advanced camera category. It has all of the creative controls--but not the size and heft--of a typical advanced model. It's...

We weren't impressed by the software bundled with the Exilim. For such a sophisticated camera, the Casio Photo Loader and Photohands software seems simplistic and limited

The EX-P600 sets the standard for in-camera help systems.

Because it offers lots of controls and lots of help, the Exilim Pro EX-P600 can be used by photographers of all skill levels.

Casio EXILIM PRO EX-P600 Digital Camera Review: Intro and Highlights

The Casio EX-P600 digital camera marks a significant turning point for Casio, a return to the "Enthusiast" market that they left after their very successful QV-3000 model had run its course. The QV-3000 was introduced in early 2000, so it's been a...

Casio EX-P600 Digital Camera Review

The Exilim Pro EX-P600 is a digital camera for those with a taste for grunt in the compact / prosumer range. At 6 mega pixels, Casio has raised the bar offering those looking to purchase a 5 mega pixel camera a step up. The option to produce images on...

The camera has a 6 mega pixel capture producing workable jpeg size files that upload to your PC fairly quickly. The EX-P600 also uses the Photoloader software (included), which, as mentioned in previous Casio reviews is fantastic and very...

Casio Exilim EX-P600

Sarcasm aside, the P600 is truly a "fully loaded" digicam. How does the P600 perform? Find out in our review

Very good image quality (though some vignetting) ; Large (but low resolution) 2.0" LCD display ; Robust performance ; Loads of manual controls, including multiple types of bracketing ; Useful gimmicks like Manual Assist, calendar, album ; Lots of "best...

Some vignetting in images ; Weak flash ; LCD freezes when camera is focusing ; Pathetic 9.2MB of on-board memory ; Dumb gimmicks like EX Finder, image roulette ; Outdated movie mode ; Battery not as powerful as competition ; Bundled software not Mac OS...

Overall, I recommend the Casio Exilim EX-P600, which proves that you can't just a book by its cover.

Not much. The deeper you go into this camera's feature set, the more you find that makes you smile. On the surface you have a very appealing, classy-looking unit made of contrasting silver, gray, and chromed segments. From every angle, it's a high-tech...

The camera sports 9MB of internal flash memory for storing your favorite images. You can choose to make these hidden or visible to all for whatever reasons you may have. There's a standard SD slot but the camera does not ship with a card. Don't skimp...
