Casio Exilim EX-Z75 review

Casio Exilim EX-Z75 Casio made its name in the digital camera world with its ultraslim Exilim Card cameras, and thin cameras--such as the Exilim EX-Z75 (part of the Exilim Zoom series)--remain one of the company's specialties. As Casio will readily...

Small, slim, digital camera with attractive design; fast performance.

Disappointing image quality; sensitivity tops out at ISO 400; low-resolution LCD screen; design quirks make it easy to turn the camera on accidentally.

Sure, it's slim, inexpensive, and cute, but annoying quirks and iffy image quality keep this 7.2-megapixel snapshooter off our list of favorites.

Casio EXILIM ZOOM EX-Z75 Digital Camera - Express Review - The Imaging Resource!

Casio is well-known for producing some of the sleekest cameras on the market and the 7.2 megapixel EX-Z75 is no exception. Slim enough to fit into a tight pocket or small purse, you can carry this camera anywhere. And with the optional underwater...

Compact, sleek, portable design ; Large LCD ; Simple to Use ; Easy to understand/navigate menu system ; Low ISO of 50 ; Versatile 34 Best Shot scene modes ; Unique Business Card and White Board modes make digital note-taking easier ; Live Histogram ;...

External controls are cramped ; Image noise especially when using Anti-Shake and High Sensitivity mode ; Soft images above ISO 50 ; Low resolution LCD that's difficult to use in bright sun and low light ; Purple fringing

At best, though, the Casio Z75 is only a minor upgrade to the EX-Z70. Two additional choices in body color--blue or pink--have been added to the standard black or silver. The LCD on the Casio Z75 is slightly larger at 2.6-inches (versus 2.5-inches),...

Casio EX-S770 vs. Casio EX-Z75

Seems like in the past year or two, digital camera manufacturers are releasing new model lineups every three to six months. Yet, there doesn't seem to be much change from lineup to lineup. On top of that, most manufacturers offer very similar cameras...

Slim (less than 3/4" thick when closed) ; 3X optical zoom ; Easy to use, even for non-enthusiasts

Nearly identical specifications ; EX-Z75 does not include a docking cradle ; Can't sync EX-Z75 on a dead battery

So they have virtually identical image sensors and optics, nearly the same design, and take basically identical photos. If you have to pick one, which should it be? For my money, the EX-S770 wins this comparison for one simple reason: it includes a...

Casio Exilim EX-Z75 Review and Prices

Casio's Exilim EX-Z75 is attractive in three important areas for photographers who are interested in an ultra-compact digital camera: Relatively high resolution (7.2 megapixels), a very small camera body, and a sub-$200 starting price. Most of the...

Very small camera, good response times, low starting price, good-looking model with color choices

LCD has low resolution, images look blurry on LCD, camera images have a lot of noise, no image stabilization, no viewfinder

Casio Exilim EX-Z75

The Casio Z75 has a laundry list of flaws. Performance ranked below average and the camera's unimpressive specifications make the Z75 a hard sell even when compared to other cameras in this sub-$200 class. The Exilim Z75 produces pictures with blue...

Read a review of the Casio Exilim EX-Z75 digital camera on DigitalCameraInfo.com.

While the outside looks good, the inside needs some work. The Casio EX-Z75 runs a little behind the times. Consumers shouldn’t expect to find advanced features like mid-range optical zoom (above 3x) or optical image stabilization at the $200 price...

Casio Exilim EX-Z75 Digital Camera Full Review

The 7.2 megapixel Casio Exilim EX-Z75 hasn't changed too much from its predecessor, the Z70, but the changes are welcome.  The primary difference is that the Z75 features a 2.6 inch, wide LCD like the Casio S770 has.  The new LCD offers better...

Casio Exilim EX-Z75 Digital Camera Review
