Kodak EasyShare C653 review

Kodak EasyShare C653

Optical viewfinder; relatively quick performance.

Thick and ugly design; poor image quality; must half-press shutter before shooting to ensure focus.

Despite its low price, give this clunky, uncomfortable camera a pass.

Kodak EasyShare C653 Silver Digital Camera (6.1MP, 2848x2144, 3x Opt, 32MB Internal Memory, SD/MMC Card Slot)

The EasyShare C653 ($130 as of 5/10/07) is a simple, inexpensive point-and-shoot with a built-in help system. It's not the most stylish camera, though you get a lot for relatively few dollars: 6.1-megapixel imaging, a 2.4-inch LCD screen, and, most...

High image quality ; Built-in help system

Low battery life ; Meager documentation

The C653 is easy to use, delivers high-quality photos, and offers in-camera panorama stitching. But battery life is low.

This low-priced camera delivers high-quality images and can stitch panoramas, but battery life is short.

Kodak Easyshare C653 Digital Camera Review

The Kodak EasyShare C653 digital camera is an affordable and clever 6.1 megapixel camera, with a rather robust unstylish metal design. I say clever because it features Kodak Perfect Touch technology, cropping, digital red-eye reduction, blurry picture...

Kodak EasyShare C653 6.1Mp compact camera

The Kodak EasyShare C653 (available for around £85) is a simple, inexpensive point-and-shoot camera with a built-in help system.

The Kodak EasyShare C653 isn't a good choice for anyone who's moved beyond novice photography. But its simplicity is a perfect fit for someone who just wants to take the occasional family snapshot.

Pretty Good Camera

Good price on the camera with a lot of features for a camera of this price

It is kind of frustrating trying to get photos in good focus. It is sometimes difficult to push the shutter just right half way to let the picture focus. I end up pushing it too hard and having to try to redo the picture

Good, but not Great :- (

While this camera is relatively small, it's a bit thicker than many competing cameras in this class. I did not test the video or audio features before giving the camera to a twelve year old girl for whom I bought the Kodak EasyShare C653 in the first...

It boots up quickly and the display is bright. The viewfinder is a nice feature to have in this class of point-and-shoot camera and those high-capacity SD cards are inexpensive and readily available. As are the AA batteries. The menus are easy to...

I was expecting virtually perfect pictures, but even my most carefully exposed shots were flawed. Shots taken at the highest resolution were the worse. They were very grainy and lacked vivid detail. Colors were not brilliant. The battery door is easy...

My Daughter Loves it!

We bought this for my 19 year old daughter for Christmas. It's easy to use and she loves it. The price is right for an entry level digital cam
