Exceptional performance and no shutter lag. Stylish design.

No viewfinder. Relatively small LCD. Purple fringing in some shots.

The V530 is inexpensive, very versatile, and easy to use. The excellent menus, blistering speed, and handy extras make it an easy pick for our Editors' Choice.

Kodak EasyShare V530

Kodak prides itself in producing realistic colors with its Kodak Color Science Chip in its EasyShare digital cameras. Many times Kodak cameras perform well, but there are more factors that contribute to color accuracy than just the chip. To see how...

The Kodak EasyShare V530 aims to grab a share of the ultra slim market with its trendy colored housings, skinny 0.9-inch profile, and organized layout. The 5 megapixel V530 comes in red, silver, black, and pink – each to appeal to a slightly different...

Kodak EASYSHARE V530 Zoom

Looks smooth, great pictures, nice video functions

Irritating directional pad

It's small, stylish and takes some great shots, but some layout problems can make it quite irritating to use.

Kodak Easyshare V530

Kodak's V530 will please those after a fashionable and functional compact for everyday use.

Compact and stylish. Large, clear display. Straightforward, simple controls. Built-in image stabilisation. Captures stills directly from video.

No included memory card. No carry case. Limiting battery life. Glossy surfaces easily fingerprinted.

This sexy snapshot looks stunning, but struggles to stand out in the crowd.

Kodak V530

Finally. The digital camera the lefties have been waiting for - and we don't mean fully paid-up members of the Communist Party. The Kodak V530 is a super-slinky compact model and the lion's share of its operations are handled on the lefthand side. This...

Kodak's ?take you by the hand' philosophy can look rather out of place on its more expensive cameras, but here it works a treat. The V530 is a great entry in the point-and-shoot range, helped by quality images and a great price.

Newer model with 6.1 mp coming out at the end of the month. Should have waited? Not sure, but this is definitely worth its price in this market.

A great upgrade from older kodak easyshare models. Comp savvy ppl have nothing to fear about the software. It is not that hard to figure out if you spend a few minutes w/ it. I only use it to upload pics and use other programs for editting. Great size...

Could have used a USB connection, but that's not a big deal. No viewfinder: for the old-fashioned, maybe not a good thing. I don't really mind

Kodak Easyshare V530 Digital Camera

Over-all: The V530 seems to be a very user friendly camera that Kodak has created for taking digital pictures. They have provided a good amount of information on their homepage for support, updates and additional products you can add to the easy share...

CONS ; EasyShare photo editing software, it reminds me of a prison. Your images can be added into the Kodak program very easily, but it's difficult to extract them out of it ; Short battery life, but extra batteries for this Kodak model are affordable...
