Nikon Coolpix L820 Black

It's a modest update from last year's L820 , which was a good deal as well. In fact, the differences between the two pretty much come down to three features: a tilting LCD (the L820's was fixed), a little extra zoom (765mm compared to 675mm), and a...

The Nikon Coolpix L830 is easy enough for just about anyone to pick up and use; it has higher-end features for its price, such as a tilting high-res LCD; and has very good daylight photo and movie quality.

No electronic viewfinder or control over shutter speed and aperture might be disappointing for some. Autofocus performance is on the slow side when the lens is zoomed in as well as in low light or indoors.

With easy-to-use controls, a nice tilting LCD, and pleasing photo quality, the affordable 34x zoom Nikon Coolpix L830 is a solid pick.

Nikon Coolpix L820 decent 30x megazoom on the cheap

For those who value long zoom lenses, AA batteries, and saving a few bucks, this might be your point-and-shoot.

The ; has better features than you'd expect for its price, including a 30x zoom lens, a high-res 3-inch LCD, and a backside-illuminated CMOS sensor. It's one of the few cameras that is powered by AA batteries.

The L820's autofocus performance is on the slow side when the lens is zoomed in or in low light or indoors. Shooting performance is not quite fast enough for fast-moving kids and pets.

Nikon Coolpix L820 ( Black)

The star is obviously the 30x zoom lens, which starts at an ultrawide-angle 22.5mm and zooms out to 675mm. That covers a lot of ground and gives you great framing flexibility. Along with that you get a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor (something typically...

Nikon Coolpix L820 Review

The Nikon Coolpix L820 is a high-zoom digital compact camera featuring a 30x optical zoom, back-illuminated 16 megapixel CMOS sensor, 1080p FullHD video and EXPEED C2 processor. Nikon cite the L820 as being clever with images by utilising the zoom,...

The L820 doesn't seem to fit into the L series of the Nikon range at all. The L stands for Lifestyle and stands for ease of use, simplicity and is aimed at photographers with a point and shoot outlook. The L820 offers much more than this. It has...

Nikon COOLPIX L820

The Nikon COOLPIX L820 is a super-zoom with a 30x range and a 16 Megapixel sensor. It has DSLR styling in a smaller form factor than the more expensive models that offer an even longer zoom range like Nikon's own 42x COOLPIX P520 and Canon's 50x...

30x stabilised optical zoom., 1080p30 HD video., 8fps burst and lots of other continuous modes., 180 and 360 degree panoramas
