Olympus Camedia C-7000 Zoom

Included Memory Amount: 32 MB, Included Memory: Media Card, Media Format: xD-Picture Card, Type: Compact, Maximum R...

Perfectly exposed daylights shots with great dynamic range and color ; 5X optical zoom ; movable autofocus target zone ; shoots in RAW, TIFF, and JPEG formats ; useful panorama guides ; extended exposure bracketing ; in-camera slide show special...

Flash shots underexposed ; flimsy battery/memory card door and plastic tripod socket ; no focusable diopter ; no auxiliary flash capability ; easy to cover sensor window with your finger

The C-7000 Zoom has the power of an enthusiast-class camera squeezed into a compact size. It's easy to operate for non-techies, but versatile and powerful enough for more demanding users.

Olympus D-580 Zoom review: Olympus D-580 Zoom

Agile burst mode; simple, compact design; solid snapshot quality.

Few manual settings; shutter lag; noisy low-light shots.

If you don't like to fiddle with camera controls but want decent quality for printing snapshots, the Olympus D-580 Zoom will meet your needs at an affordable price.

Olympus D-580 Zoom

This affordable point-and-shoot is simple to operate.

A capable and reasonably priced point-and-click camera, the D-580 Zoom has a few usability blemishes. Its relatively puny battery life makes it a better choice for a now-and-then photographer than for a passionate snapshooter.
